DAY 1 WHISTLER TO QUESNEL
Board the world famous Rocky Mountaineer train for a two day
journey on our exciting new route. Enjoy breathtaking and
varied scenery, including winding lakeshores of Anderson and
Seton lakes, the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon
and the vast ranchlands of the Cariboo Plateau. Your day concludes
as the Rocky Mountaineer follows the banks of the Fraser River
into Quesnel. Overnight in comfortable accommodations in Quesnel.
DAY 2 QUESNEL TO JASPER
Continue eastward through the forests of northern British
Columbia, home to plentiful wildlife, including a large population
of moose. Enter the Rocky Mountain Trench, where the Rocky
Mountains rise steeply to the north and the Cariboo Mountains
soar to the south, Pass Mount robson, the highest peak in
the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), before
arriving in Jasper in the early evening.
